The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice greets guests with a grand entrance that feels like stepping into a restored 16th‑century noble residence, complete with original frescoes and Murano‑glass accents. The lobby’s marble floors and towering windows frame the iconic Santa Maria delle Salute, setting a tone of refined elegance that carries through the public spaces.
Guest rooms blend historic charm with modern comforts: air‑conditioned suites feature antique furnishings, hand‑crafted Murano glass lamps, and marble bathrooms equipped with plush robes and premium toiletries. Reviews consistently note the spacious living areas as ideal for couples seeking romance and families who appreciate the separate bedroom layout. While specific room names are not listed, the variety of layouts accommodates solo travelers, couples, and larger groups alike.
Breakfast is served in a sun‑lit dining room overlooking the canal, offering a selection of fresh pastries, Italian cheeses, and seasonal fruit—all included in the rate. The hotel’s on‑site restaurant, Le Couture, serves refined Venetian cuisine, and the Bar del Gritti provides classic cocktails with a view of the water, though the menu details are kept succinct in the source material.
